MAO-B Inhibition Downregulates Striatal Aromatic Amino Acid Decarboxylase (AAAD) Activity in Rhesus Monkeys in Vivo

The goal of this study is to determine the effect of MAO blockade on AAAD activity in non-human primate brain, in vivo, using PET imaging with fluoro-m-tyrosine (FMT), a selective PET imaging agent for assessing AAAD activity.
