Description

This presentation will be about the formation of a tribe of student entrepreneurs at the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2017-2019. We will discuss what constitutes a "tribe" and that feeling of belonging and connectedness for the type of person that is or wants to be an entrepreneur or innovator. We'll discuss why this type of tribe must span disciplines and what important lessons this type of experience provides to our students. I would also like to hear from the audience about other "tribes" that exist in and are connected to the university and how they have formed and benefit students.
