Description
This session will cover sources of information, when to input a new record, physical/technical descriptions, Playaways and other digital media, and other topics to be determined by audience interest. Attendees should have a basic knowledge of the MARC 21 format for Sound Recordings and AACR2 cataloging rules for Sound Recordings. Some of the basic changes that RDA will bring to the future of cataloging Sound Recordings may also be discussed.
