Author Kirstin Cronn-Mills explores the experiences of neurodivergent high school students, teachers, and parents through the eyes of Evvie, a neurodivergent high school senior, as they all seek to cultivate friendships, romantic relationships, and a neurodiversity-affirming school environment against the odds of systemic oppression, stigmatizing attitudes, and everyday pressures.
