Abstract
In the face of adversity against the diagnosis of sickle cell anemia, Corey Montgomery refuses to accept his fate and is determined to find a cure. With the support of his family, friends, Corey researches and explored experimental treatments that may ultimately lead to a cure. This poster is a breakdown of the presence and importance of individual and family resilience when faced with a chronic and potentially fatal illness such as sickle cell anemia.
