Abstract
Providing group counseling in an online format has increased in popularity in recent years, highlighting the need to offer opportunities for counselors in training to participate in online groups to enhance their professional development. This article will offer considerations for designing, facilitating, and assessing effective counseling groups for graduate students in an online environment to create an engaging and meaningful learning experience. Strategies and activities to enhance the group process and dynamics in an online format will also be explored, along with diversity and ethical considerations.
