Abstract
With implementation of Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), the deployment of the SAML protocol improves security, facilitates the enforcement of security policies, improves user experience, and reduces password fatigue. By using a single set of credentials to authenticate, students, faculty and staff now access resources and services with a single sign-on (SSO). This results in some issues associated with IP validation and EZproxy being resolved, but not all. Therefore, presentation identified what has changed, what has not changed, and what are the new challenges to providing access. As in our presentation last year, for illustrative purposes business databases served as a point of reference.
