When family violence goes unaddressed, it harms not only individual children but also schools, communities, and the state’s long-term social and economic well-being. Protecting children reflects shared values of safety, dignity, equity, and collective responsibility. Investing in prevention and early intervention affirms Minnesota’s commitment to justice, strong families, and healthy futures for all children.
