Description
There are many components of the Honors Program at Minnesota State University, Mankato. One of the most fundamental components is the Senior Capstone Project. In order to graduate from Minnesota State University, Mankato with the distinction of University Scholar, the student must successfully complete a senior project. A student may select from a variety of capstone options, such as a scholarly paper, a creative work, a recital, a performance, a web site, or an experimental project. Through presentation of these capstone options, as well as several personal examples of recent senior projects, the validity and importance of the role of the honors senior project in the academic career of a student will be conveyed.
