The hero quest story is a common element of myth found in many stories. While the basic formula has stayed the same throughout time, the formula has been altered to adapt with modern literary and mythic themes. The following oral reader's theatre group presentation will incorporate various modem texts to analyze the modem hero's quest. This presentation will show how classical theory can adapt to contemporary times.
