Description
Many are faced with the dilemma that society trains people to compartmentalize various aspects of their lives into separate, seemingly unrelated, categories i.e. family, career, hobbies etc. As one lives life and matures, it becomes increasingly clear that what makes life interesting is the interplay between these various aspects. Paper to Floor: Linking Space to Movement through Printmaking and Dance explored the unique combination of contemporary dance and visual media to create a new recipe for human expression. The outcome exposed a unique fusion in performance reflective of the facilitator's (Lipps) emerging artistic voice.
