The Unwanted Ads
Abstract
The Unwanted Ads by William Musgrove contains twelve short stories sharing common themes of unfulfillment and self-worth. The characters in these stories often are trapped in a position and perceive their happiness to be elsewhere. Often, they turn to rely on their imagination and fantasy to cope with the unfulfillment in their lives. This collection examines how this could be good or bad, and how perception of being seen as lesser (from other characters or the world in general) affects their pursuit of happiness.
