Abstract

This thesis is a queer science fiction novel that takes place in a corporate governed society. The main power source is energy generated by artificially created beings known as the Wired. The novel follows the story of Ryan, a Wired technician with ambitions to climb the corporate ladder, and Astra, a Wired that is more than meets the eye. Ryan and Astra meet and fall in love, and through that relationship the corruptness of this society is revealed. Together, Ryan and Astra work to bring revolution and change to the world around them.
