Ruby and the Wiz
Abstract
Ruby and The Wiz is a novel that explores the hardships of a young woman coming into adulthood. The novel uses relationships to navigate the emotional complexity of being a young, queer woman. With four different relationships explored, the protagonist: Dorothy, must overcome past trauma, family secret keeping and trust issues to heal from past emotional abuse.
