Kangaroo Court
Abstract
Kangaroo Court is a collection of poems that explores the relationship between humans and non-human animals. The poems vary in form, but many of them use found text from sources such as legal case documents, animal experimentation ethics guides, animal biology articles, and interviews. The collection particularly examines the problematic principles we have about animals and their rights, but it also takes time to praise and give appreciation to the animals who have been exploited.
