Abstract

People we Only Know in Passing is a collection of poems written by Anthony Procopio Ross in accordance with completion of the Master of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing at Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2022. These poems consider the epistemological limits of our interactions with others, while maintaining a vested interest in the varieties of intimacy, concrete and imagined, we allow ourselves to have with others. This collection is split into three sections. One poem precedes them offering readers a thematic anchor. A critical introduction contextualizes the poems that follow
