Every Blessing
Abstract
Every Blessing is an upmarket novel about a dysfunctional, affluent group of five siblings who’ve returned home after their father’s death. Their hopes for swift exits and overflowing trust funds are dashed by a stipulation in the will: break the family curse. Each sibling needs the money. Each has a complicated history with their business tycoon of a father and the Mayfield legacy. None would admit any of this aloud for fear of giving their siblings ammunition. Over the course of six days, the Mayfield siblings are forced on a scavenger hunt around their ancestral home to put together the pieces of a cursebreaking ritual and the past that binds, and breaks, them.
