Abstract
The purpose of this study was to survery the extensiveness of the use of disc recordings and to make suggestions as to how such uses might be increased. More specificially, it seeks to answer the following quetions: 1. What types of recordings are currently being used in instrumental teaching? 2. What are the criteria for selecting records and playback equipment? 3. How may more adequate equipment be made available to schools?
