The Minnesota County Air Photo Collection is a series of digitized historical air photos coordinated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. These air photos are taken from an airplane traveling north-south or east-west.
In 2026, this collection began being digitized and it is an ongoing project. To explore individual digitized air photos, use this Digital Map Library GIS Tool (https://main.d1ti1gscitmw7m.amplifyapp.com/) developed by former graduate student Ira Raber.
These air photos are located at Minnesota State University, Mankato, Memorial Library and are usable under a Creative Commons-Attribution-Non-Commercial license (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/).
