Abstract
Family crisis relates to a significant impact that affects a family unit directly. When an individual experiences trauma, it often greatly affects others around them, especially family. The family may need to take on new roles and responsibilities to keep the function of the family stable. Adapting to crisis within a family unit is crucial in order to continue providing support for one another and help in the healing and grieving that may arise from the situation. The purpose of this presentation is to make aware how important it is to understand the way a family as a whole is affected when they undergo crisis, such as Huntington's Disease.
