Abstract
Family relating is how a family communicates, connects, collaborates, and cooperates. This shapes the unique characteristics of each family as well as the ability to function. The importance of family relating is having each family member contribute to help shape the family as a whole and improve their overall functioning. This can also help lower stress levels, which in turn, can allow someone to live a longer life. The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the impact of family relating on those diagnosed with Early Alzheimer's Disease.
