Voice turbulence index (VTI) is an acoustic analysis parameter that provides an objective assessment of breathiness (a common feature of disordered voices). This study was conducted to establish normative data on 50 adult male and female speakers for VTI using the Kay Elemetrics Multidimensional Voice Program (MDVP). To date, normative data for VTI have not been reported in the literature. 44
