Description
A number of studies have found significant correlations between a variety of constructs and anxiety. The purpose of this study is to examine the constructs of perfectionism and locus of control and a resulting correlation with anxiety. In order to determine the strength and directions of these relationships, 80 college students will be given the Beck Anxiety Inventory, Rotter's Locus of Control Scale, and the Perfectionistic Self-Presentation Scale. Data will be collected within the next two weeks. It is anticipated that the results will support the hypotheses of a significant correlations between an internal locus of control and perfectionism as well as between an internal locus of control and high anxiety.
