Abstract
This research project was initiated to construct and test a model of the sweet corn and pea processing industry of Minnesota. The model is a composite abstract consisting of several basic theories of general application and several hypotheses which were formulated to consider the unique properties associated with sweet corn and pea processing. These are related to the agricultural and industrial factors which are inseparable parts of sweet corn and pea processing. Testing the model concerned the evaluation of the theories and hypotheses with regard to the real life situation. The basic concepts used in the model were refined and elaborated upon in the observed segment of the study. In the end the model's value was evaluated as to its accuracy and applicability.
